Megan and Joe are cheese-loving parents to a crazy English bulldog named Apollo, otherwise known as Snarffles McNards, Little Lord Apollo or Lord Lard.** Their love of Apollo and Megan’s extreme love of all things cheesy (including food, gossip and early-90′s R&B) led to the name of this blog. Joe and Megan met three years ago when Megan tagged along with some friends to a barbeque at Joe’s apartment. Joe thought Megan was a spicy Puerto Rican with great legs. Megan thought Joe was adorable, though she did have to tell him she was not, in fact, Puerto Rican but the love child of a sassy Irish mother named Kathleen and a kick-ass Black dad named Jimmy.

Despite the plethora of WSU Cougar football swag at Joe’s place, Megan fell head over heels for the 6’4″ Lithuanian and it’s been love ever since.

**Update ~ Snarffles McNards, aka Apollo, has gone to live on a farm in WA.  NO, not THAT kind of farm.   An honest to goodness farm where he can run, frolic and make merry all the live long day.  Long story…we love the little bugger, but poor little guy has some issues.  We liken his farm to a nice, safe mental health treatment center.  Oh, and the best news of all – we also have a wee little nugget named Madeline Kathleen, born November 2nd 2009 after a buttload of Pitocin and much cursing and swearing.  Birth story to follow soon.  MUAH!
